Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Teabloom Berry Harvest Tea
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 cups flour
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • jelly

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated or icing sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg yolks, Berry Harvest tea, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add the flour and corn starch.
  • Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use your thumb or the back of a small spoon to make an indentation in the center of each cookie.
  • Spoon a small amount of your favorite jam or preserves into the indentation of each cookie. The fruity sweetness of the jam will complement the subtle flavors of the tea-infused dough.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, serve these delightful Tea-Infused Thumbprint Cookies to your loved ones and watch as they marvel at the unique flavor combination. Whether enjoyed with a cup of tea or as a sweet treat on their own, these cookies are sure to become a new Valentine's Day tradition.
