Masala Chai Tea-ramisu

A unique twist on the classic Tiramisu with tea ,that will leave your taste buds in awe.

Equipment

  • 9x13 inch baking dish
  • stand mixer or electric mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cup Teabloom's Masala Chai tea
  • 16 oz mascarpone
  • 6 large egg yolks
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2/3 sugar
  • 35 lady fingers
  • cocoa powder

Instructions
 

  • Steep Teabloom's Select Masala Chai tea for 3-5 minutes and set aside.
  • Seperate 6 egg yolks. In a double boiler method over medium heat, mix egg yolks and sugar. Mix together for about 5-8 minutes until the egg is a lighter yellow in color.
  • Once the egg mixture is slightly cool, mix the mascarpone cheese. Set aside.
  • With an electric mixer or stand mixer, whip the whipping cream until it produces stiff peaks. Fold in the whipping cream with the mascarpone cheese mixture.
  • Place the tea in a deep dish. Soak each lady finger for 3 seconds per side and fill the baking dish. Add half of the mascarpone mixture, then layer this again with more lady fingers. Add the remaining mascarpone mix on top. Spring with cocoa powder. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
