Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and Earl Grey tea leaves.
Pour in the beer and mix until just combined. The batter will be thick.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared loaf pan.
Optional to pour the melted butter over the top of the batter.
Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
