Halloween cocktails don’t need purple food coloring and gummy eyeballs to be fun. Sometimes the coolest drinks are the ones that feel seasonal and moody, with a little kitchen-witch creativity.
This one is exactly that. It’s crisp gin, tonic bubbles, and Teabloom’s Apple Spice loose-leaf tea layered in for that warm fall smell — think apple picking, cinnamon sticks, and cozy sweater weather… except you’re holding a cocktail and there's fake spiders on your bar cart.

The star is honestly the rim. You melt marshmallows, pull them thin like melted mozzarella cheese, and wrap them around the glass until they look like tiny, haunted spider webs. It’s nostalgic campfire energy meets creative Halloween party. Toast the rim for that golden, caramel-burnt edge and it’s game over. It’s spooky. It’s pretty. It tastes like October. And it doesn’t try too hard — which is exactly the point.

This delicious drink is amazing on it’s own, but if you want to get even more creative, you have to try the following! :

Caramel-dipped apple slice garnish
: Adds a little caramel-apple throwback moment.
Cinnamon-smoked glass: Light a cinnamon stick and let the smoke kiss the inside of each glass. Witchy, fragrant, unforgettable.
Black salt sprinkle:
Put a tiny pinch on top for drama — it gives dimension and a little minerally bite.
Gin swap:
Try a barrel-aged gin for deeper, autumn-forest energy.
Zero-proof version
: Use a botanical non-alcoholic gin or simply sparkling apple water + tea. Still spooky. Still fabulous.

Serve this like you’re hosting a chic adult Halloween gathering — not a kids’ costume party. Think moody, understated, and a little mysterious. Use black or smoked-glass cocktail cups, set the drinks on a tray dressed with a touch of faux moss or a few mini pumpkins, and let drippy candles flicker nearby for atmosphere. Scatter a few dried apple slices around like fallen leaves, and place one tiny faux spider on a glass for a subtle spooky touch — nothing over-the-top or tacky, just elegant Halloween energy.
