Pumpkin Chai Chia Pudding

The first day of fall has arrived! As the seasons shift and autumn settles in, many of us find ourselves drawn to flavors that evoke tradition, comfort, and warmth. This recipe brings together two timeless favorites—spiced chai tea and pumpkin pie—but with a delicious addition: creamy chia pudding. The result is a soothing, lightly sweet indulgence that feels both nostalgic and nourishing, perfect for slowing down and savoring during the cooler months.
Pumpkin pie spices—nutmeg, cinnamon, ground ginger, and vanilla—are a natural match for the bold, spiced complexity of chai tea. When folded into chia pudding made with pumpkin purée, these flavors shine in a creamy, lightly sweetened base. Layered or enjoyed side by side with a hot mug of chai, this duo is a celebration of fall comfort.
Spoon the pumpkin pie chia pudding into a glass or bowl, and enjoy alongside a steaming cup of spiced chai tea. We recommend Teabloom’s looseleaf Supreme Spiced Chai. This tea blend brings together a vibrant medley of ginger, cloves, cardamom, star anise, pepper, and other warming spices. Carefully blended with premium organic black tea from India’s renowned Nilgiri region, it offers a refined take on the classic chai tradition. This delicious blend is what we find best compliments this pumpkin chia pudding! For a café-style twist, layer the pudding in a clear jar and dust the top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
This recipe is more than a dessert—it’s an experience of fall in every spoonful. The chai warms you from the inside out, while the creamy pumpkin pudding feels indulgent yet nourishing. Together, they make the ultimate cozy pairing for chilly mornings, afternoon breaks, or even as a festive treat for guests. So, light a candle, grab your favorite blanket, and savor the flavors of the season. This chai-and-pumpkin pairing might just become your new fall ritual.
