Pumpkin Spice Bug Treat

Sometimes, all it takes is a store bought dessert and a few creative touches to turn something ordinary into a Halloween treat worth showing off. This spooky pumpkin pie is the perfect example. With a generous dollop of homemade pumpkin spice tea infused whipped cream and a creepy and delicious little chocolate bug on top, it's an easy way to dress up a fall favourite without spending hours in the kitchen.
The real star of this treat is the whipped cream, infused with Teabloom's Pumpkin Spice Tea from the Seasons Collection. With its warm, cozy autumn flavours, this tea adds a delicious seasonal twist to classic whipped cream and pairs beautifully with the rich, spiced filling of pumpkin pie. It's a simple addition that makes the whole dessert feel a little more special. And the best part? This whipped cream isn't just for pumpkin pie! Spoon it over apple crisp, brownies, cheesecake, pancakes, or waffles, or add a generous swirl to your favourite fall drinks. It's especially delicious on hot chocolate, coffee, chai lattes, and even a cozy cup of tea. Once you try tea-infused whipped cream, you'll find plenty of excuses to make it again.
Of course, Halloween calls for a little creativity! To give this pumpkin pie a spooky finishing touch, a date and some melted chocolate come together to create an edible creepy-crawly bug sitting right on top of the whipped cream. It's playful, a little creepy, and just the thing to make guests look twice before taking a bite. You can easily customize the decorations to suit your Halloween style, whether that means adding chocolate spiders, candy eyes, cookie crumbs that look like dirt, or a few extra chocolate details. You can even experiment with other teas from Teabloom's Seasons Collection to create different whipped cream flavours throughout the year. So whether you're hosting a Halloween party, putting together a festive dessert table, or simply enjoying a cozy night at home, this dressed up pumpkin pie proves that a little creativity can make even the simplest dessert feel spooktacular!
