Earl Grey tea is enjoyed all year round and is named for Charles Grey. He was Britain’s Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834 and the second Earl Grey.
History claims that one of the Earl’s men rescued the drowning son of a Chinese Mandarin. As a gift of gratitude, the Earl was presented with bergamot-flavored tea.
Today, Earl Grey tea is a classic in the Western world and a staple in British culture. It’s enjoyed with a hint of sugar or a slice of fresh lemon to help enhance the citrus flavor.
Earl Grey Private Garden is available in a reusable tea canister. Earl Grey loose tea leaves come in a beautiful tin with 35 to 50 servings of tea.
This premium Earl Grey blend is also available in select loose-leaf tea samplers and tea sachet collections.
