Afrikaans for "red bush," the rooibos herb grows naturally in only the Cedarberg region of South Africa’s Western Cape province. While rooibos has been a traditional herbal remedy for many centuries, it has relatively recently become a very popular herbal tea preparation outside the African continent. Steeping instructions
- 1. Heat water to a boil (208˚F).
- 2. Place tea in a cup and pour water over the leaves.
- 3. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
