Ginger Green Tea Hot Toddy

This classic hot toddy with green tea and ginger concoction not only warms you up but also provides the potential health benefits of green tea and the immune-boosting power of ginger.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. freshly squeezed ginger juice
  • 1 ounce whiskey or bourbon
  • 1 1/2 cup Teabloom Sencha Medley Green Tea
  • honey
  • cinnamon stick

Instructions
 

  • Boil water in a pot or a tea kettle. Steep Teabloom's Sencha Medley Green Tea to desired level of taste. Set aside
  • Using a juicer or a blender, juice fresh ginger. Be sure to strain it so that the drink is smooth and free off of the skin.
  • In a mug, pour 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tsp. of ginger, 1 ounce of whiskey or bourbon. Pour the hot green tea over until it is full.
  • Add your choice of sweetener, however, honey is a a classic recipe for this drink. Garnish with cinnamon and a lemon slice. Enjoy!
