About Jade Oolong
Teabloom’s Organic Jade Oolong has a distinctively fresh green appearance. This comparatively small-leafed Oolong is one of the first Oolongs harvested in the spring from high-elevation mountains in Fujian Province. Once infused, these lightly oxidized leaves gradually unfurl to release their essential oils. Jade oolongs are known for their fresh green-floral aroma, sweet flavor, and clean, delicate mouthfeel.
Like other true teas, oolong varieties are made with the mature leaves of the camellia Sinensis plant, with an oxidation level that falls somewhere between green and black teas.
Steeping instructions
- 1. Heat water to a near boil (195˚F).
- 2. Place tea in a cup and pour water over the leaves.
- 3. Steep for 3-5 minutes.
- 4. Enjoy!
