About TIE GUAN YIN
Tie Guan Yin Tea is grown on the famous Wuyi Mountains in the Northern Fujian province. After harvest, the tea is immediately dried in the sun. The result is a tea leaf that is 50% fermented with an inner portion that remains green.
Oolong tea leaves are more mature than green tea leaves and fall between green and black tea. The leaves of this tea are carefully rolled. The broth is bright and golden with a sweet orchid aroma.
The mouthfeel is buttery and balances with the lovely sweetness of the tea. It’s known for its sweet orchid notes and a flavor that lingers on the palate. This is a complex oolong tea that’s highly sought after by tea connoisseurs.
When making this tea, drink it straight and on its own without milk or sugar. This way you can experience the subtle flavors, nuances, and complexity of this oolong tea.
You can purchase this tea in a loose-leaf tea canister that serves 35 to 50 servings. Tie Guan Yin oolong tea can be steeped multiple times. Each steep highlights different flavors and subtle characteristics of the tea.
You can also enjoy this oolong tea chilled using the cold brew method. It’s a superior brewing technique that brings out the sweet and subtle flavors of your tea without any bitterness from over-steeping.
Tie Guan Yin Tea has similarities to both black tea and green tea and it has a moderate caffeine level. Gift this remarkable tea to a fellow tea lover or add it to your collection today.
