About TIE GUAN YIN
Tie Guan Yin Organic Tea is grown in the Northern Fujian province on the famous Wuyi Mountains. After the leaves are harvested, they are immediately dried in the sunshine. Tie Guan Yin green tea is 50% fermented on the outside while the inside remains green.
Oolong teas are known for their complex black and green tea combinations and are harvested from more mature leaves. This organic oolong loose-leaf tea is carefully rolled. The tea broth is golden and bright with an aroma that smells like sweet orchids.
The buttery mouthfeel balances with the sweetness of the tea’s orchid notes which linger on the palate. It’s a complex oolong tea highly sought out by tea connoisseurs.
When you drink this tea, enjoy it straight, without the addition of anything like milk and sugar. This way, you can taste all the subtle flavors and delicate notes of this complex tea.
This loose-leaf tea canister has 35 to 50 servings. This tea can be steeped multiple times. Every additional steep highlights the deep characteristics the tea is known for.
If you prefer a chilled version, we recommend using the cold brew method. This technique results in a rounded and sweeter flavor profile than other cold-steeping methods.
Tie Guan Yin Organic Tea has a moderate caffeine level ideal for the morning or afternoon. Enjoy this delicious tea as part of your tea ritual or gift it to a fellow tea lover, today.
